Fashion Trends for Fall/Winter 2014-2015 by Vogue

Vogue has been our fashion inspiration for over 100 years now. Today, My Design Week gives you their selection for this fall/winter season. (don’t forget to check this week’s London Fashion Week, with Tom Ford as the highlight)

Back to the Sixties with mini-skirts, trapeze dresses, patent Mary-Janes, graphic bobs and pastel colors paid tribute to the baby doll style of the decade. Designers like Gucci, Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton have incorporated this style onto their collections for this season.

Aspen Chic is also back from the seventies. The argyle sweater has made its big return this season. Louis Vuitton paired the classic piece with a Sixties leather skirt, whilst Maison Martin Margiela cinched it with a skinny belt, and Tommy Hilfiger featured fringe detailing.

Black and White is always a trend: this year using geometric patterns, Rorschach-style motifs and trompe l’œil effects. This season prints create hypnotic images and optical illusions.
