Summer is just around the corner which means that’s time to redecorate your outdoor space. Outdoor furniture should not only bring comfort and functionality to your space but also style. For that reason, and in order to make your life easier, My Design Week decided to show you some outdoor products by some of the best interior designers. Hope you feel inspired:
Like an architecture that is in keeping with its surroundings, the Kettal Maia outdoor furniture collection designed by Patricia Urquiola has a natural lightness and elegance. The design of the artisan braiding, the sturdiness of the aluminum frame and the new, Porotex and chenille fabric collection create a combination that oozes energy.
Marcel Wanders for Vondom
Suave is the product of the geniality of Marcel Wanders, who created a unique collection full of materials and textures for the renowned Spanish furniture company, Vondom. Some of the most exquisite pieces are a sophisticated modular sofa, upholstered in a unique fabric as well as comfortable poufs, an ornamented coffee table, and an exceptional table lamp, all of which provide a glamorous and warm touch to any outdoor space.
Imagine a modular lounge combining the comfort and sophistication of the world’s finest indoor systems with the outdoor know-how and barefoot luxury one expects from DEDON. That’s RAYN, dreamed up by Philippe Starck. From its specially developed cushions to the asymmetrical beauty of its design, accentuated by armrests so generous they double as side tables, RAYN takes lounging to the next level. Available in the weather-proof DEDON Fiber in two sophisticated colors, Veneto and Salina, RAYN also comes in an innovative woven textile version that’s perfect for use under a covered terrace.
The Candy chairs by India Mahdavi are designed in unique combinations and graphics. These adorable chairs love living on the terrace or on a balcony and just waiting to get lost in the kitchen.
The Graphic Lamps collection by DelightFULL is comprised of a wide variety of lighting designs, whether letters or symbols, that feature a sleek form and a soothing light effect. These contemporary pieces are perfect to give an extra lustrous glow to ones outdoors.
A veritable icon made by Kartell, the mass-tinted polypropylene Bubble Club sofa was a pioneer of a new concept in furniture accessories: the industrial sofa was made entirely of plastic. Bubble Club, a collaboration with Philippe Starck, is a roomy two-seater sofa, characterized by the soft line of its armrests, in contrast with the more rational lines of the backrest. This is a minimalist silhouette, reminiscent of the lines of “granny’s sofa”. Along with the armchair and the small table, produced with the same finish and colors, Bubble Club is now a complete family, nothing less than an “industrial living-room”. Thanks to their exceptional weather resistance, all three members of the Bubble Club family can survive perfectly outdoors and are the ideal patio furniture.
