Spring is the time of year when most babies are born. So if you are a new mom or dad and are looking to decorate your baby’s room, My Design Week gives you a few decor ideas. I know you are full of ideas for your baby’s room, and there are a wide variety of choices for you. While you can I mean, in a few years, he/she will be deciding the style in the room – and you will have no saying on the posters on the wall.

Neutral Colors | How to decorate a baby’s room

Normally the room color is gender related. However, neutral colors work with both girls and boys. Besides, neutral colors create a tranquil environment for the baby. You can also opt for a themed bedroom, using the latest color trends. Here are a few examples to inspire you.

After having the color, decide where the focal point should be in the room and start “building” from there – this means to buy the first piece of furniture. As for the rest of the furniture, you should consider not only style but softness and storage (like in the blue and brown image). If you are having your first baby, don’t forget to babyproof the room!
