Today is the day! Design Shanghai, Asia’s leading international design event started today! For those who haven’t had the change to go, don’t worry because My Design Week is going to show what’s happening and what you are missing. This event is still happening until the 9th of March 2019 and it’s being held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre.

 

ABOUT DESIGN SHANGAI

So what’s Design Shanghai 2019, for starters? Design Shanghai 2019 is the biggest international design event in Asia. The aim is to gather the best of design, quality, and inspiration, as well as Asia’s most influential architects and interior designers. It hosts a wide selection from the world’s most established brands, talented local newcomers and many, many renowned galleries.

Design Shanghai 2019 aims at always be breaking new grounds in the world of design and innovation, displaying the best design brands and galleries from the whole world. It provides the best inspirational and networking platform.

The fair is being seen over 400 leading international and home-grown design brands and galleries from over 30 countries, presenting their exciting and innovative ideas through extensive product launches, bespoke installations, and exclusive networking events. This year it will be celebrating its 6th edition and it will, therefore, be spread over 6 sections of the remarkable design. The aim of Design Shanghai 2019 is to beat the record set in 2018 and be the biggest so far.

The focus is how the East and the West can come together and work harmoniously across these 6 design sections: Contemporary, Classic & Luxury, Collectibles, Kitchen & Bathroom, Workplace, and New Materials & Applications. Besides said design sections, the public will be able to enjoy exciting installations and design forums, as well as fun networking events.

VISMARA DESIGN

Vismara Design, a brand of reference in the luxury furniture industry, is taking part at Design Shanghai 2019, the most important international event dedicated to design in Asia, which is taking place from 8 to 11 March, 2017.

As Swarovski Crystal Palace’s the exclusive distributor in China, Domus Aurea will bring a serious of exciting lighting design collections to Design Shanghai 2019 Classic & Luxury Design Hall, includes CASCADE, Dancing with Light, GLACIARIUM AVALON, MINI VOYAGE and many more. Collaborating with designers across various disciplines, the project quickly evolved into a fascinating journey of discovery and an incubator for new ideas. Swarovski Crystal Palace has collaborated with more than 60 designers over 15 years, including Zaha Hadid, Yves Behar, Tom Dixon, Ross Lovegrove, Arik Levy, Tokujin Yoshioka, Ron Arad, and Gaetano Pesce.
