Thomas O’Brien created Aero Studios in 1992 alongside William Sofield. Sofield left 3 years later and since then Thomas is the sole owner of the company. O’Brien has established partnerships with many important American brands, even though his main focus lays on the design of private residences. He designed bath plumbing for Waterworks, textiles for Lee Jofa, tableware for Reed & Barton and designed a boutique for Emporio Armani, just to name a few.
BRIAN MCCARTHY
In 1992 Brian McCarthy founded his homonymous New York-based company Brian J. McCarthy Inc. Since then he has been decorating residences not only in New York but also all around the world. He was responsible for the design of the State Rooms in the Winfield House in 2005.
JOE NAHEM
Based in New York City, Joe Nahem has been working for over 30 years in the industry. After the death of Tom Fox in 2003, with whom he created Fox-Nahem Associates, Joe Nahem has continued his path creating pieces that embody elegance and luxury. The materials he uses come from different parts of the world such as South Africa, Switzerland, and Brooklyn. He is the interior designer that decorated Robert Downey Jr.’s house in the Hamptons.
