2014 Pritzker Prize Laureate, Shigeru Ban
Career
After graduating from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Shigeru Ban began his career with Arata Isozaka. In 1985, he oppened his own architecture office and starting making residential projects such as Three Walls (1988), Curtain Wall House (1995) and Naked House (2000).
His arquitecture is used on sites of natural and man-amde disasters around the world – he develops low-cost, recyclable shelters for affected communities.
