We are all about design events you ought not to be missing. Today, read about the Design Festivals we love the most – and will make sure to talk about.

Toronto Design Offsite Festival

Is the first design festival of the year (if we do not think of IMM and M&O in Europe). Even thought it is only its 4th edition, the “Toronto Design Offsite Festival will show the best in Canadian design at exhibitions and events across the city, from unexpected prototypes to immersive installations“

DMY International Design Festival

DMY will happen from the 28th May to the 1st of June in Berlin.

“As in the years before, we will transform the historic Berlin Tempelhof airport into a stage for designers and studios from all over the world. Within the context of talks, workshops and night events, participants and visitors will be given an opportunity to get involved into the big picture, to learn and share ideas and, last but not least, to present their work.” See more here.

London Design Festival

Probably the most famous one. Everyone goes to London for those two weeks in September – just like everyone goes to M&O in January. During the LDF a million things happen – like the 100% Design and Decorex. Check out the 2013 highlights.

Cape Town Capital of Design 2014

It isn’t a festival per say but it sure deserves a highlight. Cape Town is the 2014 Capital of Design. This means amazing design events all year long (kind of like a festival). You can download the programme for the Cape Town Capital of Design 2014 here.
