Art Paris 2015

For Spring the art fair that you should attend to is Art Paris 2015. It brings together 145 galleries from 20 countries at the Grand Palais. The fair starts today and will extend to the 29th March.

It involves contemporary and modern art, photography, design and art books. The main interest and goal of this fair is to bring to Paris art that explores different regions of the world. Art Paris takes the visitors to places like Clasabanca, Bankok, Zurich, Moscow, Bucharest or Singapore.

In this edition of Art Paris Singapore and Southeast Asia are guests of honour.

On the general section you have a selection of 30 solo shows. The section Promises is dedicated to young galleries, Art Books is a section for coffe tables and artists books.

Art Design is a platform that links contemporary art and design and this area is what gives Art Paris the unique identity of European focused art fair. And at same time they want to explore the infinite world of art East and West.

This year’s general sector has some radical changes with the arrival of
modern art galleries such as Boisserée (Cologne), Luca Tommasi (Milan),
Galerie Maeght(Paris), as well as others dealing in contemporary work such
as Plutschow and Andrés Thalmann from Zürich, Flowers from London, Renate
Bender and Tanit from Munich, Maria Lund from Paris and Istanbul’s
Sanatorium and Krampf Gallery.
