What foods will consumers crave in 2015? Which trends will shape restaurant dining in the new year? MSLGroup has identified 10 food trends they think will make a big splash in 2015. The Top Food Trend for 2015 according to their research will be real time farm-to-fork dining – meaning we will see products with ”thoughtful” packaging reflecting farmer stories so consumers can trace every aspect of their food.
In 2014 the trend was for kale, vegan and gluten-free foods. However in 2015, MSLGroup predicts the most sought-after ingredients will be oysters, hot peppers and meat rubs, while 3D printed foods will continue to evolve.
