Trends for 2015 are already being set and it was on recent design weeks and trade shows like BDNY, Dutch Design Week and Biennale Interieur that the new trends were presented. Now that we now the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year, it is time to make a preview of 2015. Here are the Design Weeks and Trade Shows you cannot miss in 2015.
Imm Cologne (19-25 January)
Cologne awaits us for another edition of the first interiors show of the year presenting the trends that will be shaping the furniture and interiors sector. More information here.
Maison et Objet (23-27 January)
Is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015. Maison et Objet is an event unlike any other in the world, it is not to be missed! Check the news and program here. Maison et Objet Asia will be between 10-13 March.
Design Days Dubai (16-20 March)
The leading design event in the Middle East and South Asia dedicated to collectible and limited edition furniture and design objects. During this week is the awaited Downtown Dubai. Have a look at the program here.
Salone Internazionale del Mobile (14-19 April)
Considered the global benchmark for the Home Furnishing Sector. Everyone worth seeing exhibits both at iSaloni and Maison et Objet.
International Contemporary Furniture Fair (16-19 May)
ICFF is the leading platform for global design in North America. “lures those in determined pursuit of design’s timely truths and latest trends to an encyclopedic exhibition of up-to-the-moment offerings, as well as a series of fascinating, fun, edifying programs, and a packed schedule of exhibits and features.”
Paris Design Week (5-12 September)
Paris Design Week is the mega design event of the year, encorporating furniture, design and the most waited Paris Fashion Week. During this week, a smaller edition of Maison et Objet takes place.
London Design Festival (19-27 September)
It is one of the most important annual design events. Associated with the Festival are the trade shows 100% Design and Decorex.
Dutch Design Week (17-25 October)
An event dedicated to Dutch design only – however visited by innovation enthusiasts from all over. There “you can see with your own eyes how the world of tomorrow is already in the making today. Smart solutions and inventive design offer new promising perspectives.” More information here.
